If you’re looking to improve your portrait photography in a professional scenario, then join us for our practical workshop on Thursday, 13th October 2022 with Fashion, Beauty & Portrait Photographer Wayne Johns.

Shooting in a professional studio set up in the Fujifilm House of Photography in Central London, you’ll be joined by a professional model, make up artist and hairstylist and of course Wayne Johns to help you understand and follow a creative brief / concept, improve your portrait lighting skills and learn camera settings and shooting techniques. This will include shooting tethered, and then editing your images with Capture One, to achieve a commercial-looking image.
Throughout the day you’ll be able to get hands-on with the GFX 50S IIand the GFX 100S medium format cameras, along with a variety of GF lenses. An SD card will be provided, although you are welcome to bring extra memory should you wish!
The group size will be kept small allowing plenty of hands-on shooting experience - and personal one-to-one guidance and direction from Wayne Johns.
Throughout the day there will be breaks for refreshments, and a break in the middle of the day for lunch. Lunch is not provided, but you’ll find plenty of places on the doorstep of the House of Photography.
At the end of the day, Wayne will debrief, review your best image, and help answer any further questions you might have.
Please note: This event requires a minimum number of participants to enable us to proceed. If the minimum number of bookings required for the session has not been received, we are entitled to cancel it. We will notify you of cancellation for this reason no later than 7 days before your session is due to take place and provide a full refund, or offer an alternative date.
Should your circumstances change and you need to cancel your place, please let us know at least 10 days prior to the event taking place, and we will happily issue a full refund. Places cancelled after this time are non-refundable.
